Frankqv Report post Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) If someone wanted the sewing machine only, $500.00 (head) A great upgrade for anyone with a 45k25,the jump foot makes the 45k a more useful machine. Shipping would probably be around $75.00,complete with crating Edited December 4, 2015 by Frankqv
jimi Report post Posted December 4, 2015 Thanks for the offer frank, but I don`t have a spare €530 unfortunately. and it does look like a good upgrade from a 45k25. i am sure someone will snap it up (someone who likes the old machines) and keep it going another 100 years! how does it handle with the top feed only? you would need the feet with the points, right?? Frankqv Report post Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) I like it better with the top bottom feed. With veg tanned the points show, with chrome or finished they don't. When using top bottom,If you slow the bottom you can maintain good stitch length on radius's. It's a good solid machine,I'm sure it was a favorite for decorative shoe upper sewing, strap finishing ect Edited December 4, 2015 by Frankqv

silverbullet Report post Posted December 10, 2015 I bet it will go . These are great machines work well and will forever with a little care. I'v got its German copy with the walking foot option . If I didn't and had room it would be sold now. I out fitted mine with a speed reducer and servo and I'm sure it sews 1/2" with ease .
