I designed the mule deer head (if anyone is interested, I can post the drawing) because I couldn't find a mule deer pattern that I liked. I also couldn't find a buck with big enough antlers that were also able to fit inside the sling's dimensions, who also had a handsome face. I wound up putting a young buck's face on an old buck's rack. This is also my first time working with the big letters. It was scary, but I faked the confidence and stamped them in.
