Finished Another Guitar Strap Today

Recommended Posts

5 ounce vegtan on top of some nice soft seude turquoise leather.

This straps new owner has an Ed Sheeran model Martin, that's why the letters are bright green.

How do you finish the edges Colt?

Thank you, I have a cocobolo wood burnisher. I cut the leather, use an edge beveler then burnish with water and saddle soap on the drill press cocobolo burnisher. I don't get too crazy on edges with suede or chrome tan lining. On thicker stuff, I will edge, sand, burnish with soap, then do a beeswax layer.
