Contributing Member JLSleather Posted February 8, 2016 Contributing Member Report Posted February 8, 2016 Your thickness range, in american, is about 9/32" - 5/16" thick. That would be like 18-20 ounce leather, which I have never purchased. Quote
Members JerseyFirefighter Posted February 8, 2016 Members Report Posted February 8, 2016 Thoroughbred leather carries 15-17 harness and 13-15oz bridle. Email contact is markcoxon01@gmail.com The harness is $220 a side and the Bridle is 8.85 a sq ft. (1 side minimum order) Quote
Chief31794 Posted February 8, 2016 Report Posted February 8, 2016 you could always get two 9/10 oz belt straps and glue them together if you're dead set on a belt that thick. Chief Quote
Members x72821 Posted February 25, 2016 Members Report Posted February 25, 2016 Most of the major gunbelt manufactures make belts in this thickness, however they are usually made out of two pieces of leather, reason being it allows them to sandwich nylon webbing in the middle to help prevent sagging/stretching when carrying a full load.
