I bought one online which claimed to have a manual process, I started watching videos about leatherworking and I was very excited. Bought leather, needles, lines and aniline dye for. I joined this forum to learn more, because I'm very interested, I have done these 5 basic portfolios. I'm starting to make a more elaborated that fits more cards and documents. Rohn Report post Posted February 5, 2016 Welcome to the leather workers site. I would say you are doing very well for a beginner. You are also in a good place to learn, here on this site. Keep up the good work and keep posting.
Bob Blea Report post Posted February 7, 2016 Welcome, you are off to a good start! One tip I would give you is to round your corners slightly. Pointed corners like you have will wear badly and bend back. They will round themselves with use.
DiBentto Report post Posted February 7, 2016 Thanks for the tip! I made one more yesterday a little more complex for me. I had serious problems to finish the edges, but this is how to learn. You need to train!Thank you guys!
