Members snubbyfan Posted March 11, 2016 Members Report Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Just finished this one this morning. It's 7-8 ounce lined with 5-6 ounce with a 8-9 ounce welt. That's a wide edge; Backside; Video series; https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQtTNBOy6Ky-LLkpmTHvCOgqPvzeB3UhZ Edited March 11, 2016 by snubbyfan Quote
Members Rohn Posted March 11, 2016 Members Report Posted March 11, 2016 That is certainly a beauty. I really like that Concho. What gun does the holster fit? Quote

Members bob21804 Posted March 11, 2016 Members Report Posted March 11, 2016 (edited) Snubby, that's a gorgeous holster. I've not made a holster yet, but I'm looking forward to doing my first one soon. A couple guys I work with are each interested in a good deal on a holster from a newbie leatherworker. As I said to another forum member just yesterday, seeing the beautiful work others here are doing, is really motivating to me. Also, I started watching your video series on this holster, and subscribed. Thanks for posting it, and for going through the effort of putting it on YouTube. I know I'll learn a lot watching you work. Bob Edited March 11, 2016 by bob21804 Quote

Members Dwight Posted March 15, 2016 Members Report Posted March 15, 2016 Snubbyfan, . . . Great looking holster, my friend,.......and you definitely do a better job at basket weave than I do. Guess I just never really caught on to it like I would like to, . . . so I tend to stay away from it somewhat. But I did giggle a bit when I saw the suicide strap, . . . knowing the guy using it is not one of the "whole bunch younger" crowd. And as said before, . . . the concho really sets it off. May God bless, Dwight Quote

Members SLP Posted March 15, 2016 Members Report Posted March 15, 2016 That is a great looking holster! Like Dwight, I have not had much luck with the basket weave, but that is truly inspiring! Suicide strap http://americancopmagazine.com/retiring-the-modern-day-suicide-strap/ Quote
