Elton Joorisity Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Just finished these up a couple days ago. This is the first time that I have ever built a set for the customer to give as a gift...I just hope that he likes the colors that his girlfriend picked!! Quote
Moderator bruce johnson Posted December 18, 2008 Moderator Report Posted December 18, 2008 Elton, If he doesn't like the colors, she just needs to find another boyfriend who does. They are looking good from here. Quote

Elton Joorisity Posted December 19, 2008 Author Report Posted December 19, 2008 Steve, I do most of my filigree with a few old craft tool veiners that I have sharpened up. The rest of the areas I do with a hobby knife and round drive punches. Thanks to everyone for the comments. I like the colors too. They are something original at least. Quote
gtwister09 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Elton, Bruce and Kate both hit the nail on the head! Did you ever look at the filigree punches that Hidecrafters carried at one time? They had a TON of different sizes and shapes. Of course it looks like you are doing well without them. Regards, Ben Quote
hidepounder Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 I really like the colors Elton, and the filigree really shows up nice! Another beautiful pair of chaps! Bob Quote
