Members circlecross Posted December 24, 2008 Members Report Posted December 24, 2008 Hey everyone, My name is Scott and I am from the SW Texas Panhandle. I stumbed across this website the other day and have found a lot of helpful things. I have been stamping and carving for several years as a hobby. I started out making a few bible covers and a couple guitar straps. I just finished making my first pair of chinks using Dusty Johnson's video and patterns. I had an absolute blast making those and can't wait to make another pair. That is actually how I found this website. I have been looking for a pattern to make some step in chinks and found a forum here talking about it. I have also tried my hand at Sheridan carving and really enjoy attempting the challenge. Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to visiting with all of yall. I attached some pictures of some of the things I have made. http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...0&i=5340434 Quote

Members circlecross Posted December 24, 2008 Author Members Report Posted December 24, 2008 I was just downloading the pictures off of the camera, so here they are. Let me know what you think. For some reason the pictures won't get much bigger, so you can't see the details. If any of you know what I am doing wrong when uploading I would love to know. Quote
Members Greybeard Posted December 24, 2008 Members Report Posted December 24, 2008 Welcome Aboard, Friendly people here...Nice work. Quote
TomSwede Posted January 6, 2009 Report Posted January 6, 2009 Hi and welcome to the board! As far as I know there is no autoscaling when you post, pics appear in the same size as posted and if they are too large in kb they can't be posted. Are you sure you didn't grab and posted thumbnail previews that your camera may have produced and stored alongside the original fullsize pics?? If this problem doesn't solve for you then just contact one of the mods to see if they can help. People here are very friendly and very keen to help out with anything so never heitate to ask for help, leatherwork or not!!! Seems like you do some nice work and we love pics so hope you have got the problem sorted by now! Tom Quote
