Boriqua Report post Posted July 13, 2016 Man Oh man I wasnt even sure I liked this one but the wife said just finish it up so I set it aside after stamping and came back to it a month later. I put it on ebay and in 30 minutes had inquires and it was sold in under 4 hours. Got 2 more custom orders out of it! Woo Hoo. ... I am a hobby guy who puts some stuff for sale so its not the money that was exciting but peoples reaction. This is a tougher crowd though so hopefully you like it as well. The actual idea started because I was going to buy some Black cherry grips for my 1911 and wondered what holster I might make for myself. I happened to be looking at spanish influenced outdoor design and wala. Boriqua Report post Posted July 13, 2016 Thanks brother your opinion means a great deal to me. I am not yet up there with premium guys but at least I feel like each holster is a touch better than the last and that is all I can hope for.

Boriqua Report post Posted July 31, 2016 So one of the commissions I got as a result of the one above was to make a set with a double mag pouch and holster. I think this one came out just a scootch better. More pix of the set here for anyone interested http://www.boriqualeather.com/Gallery/index.php/Leather-Holsters/Spanish-Design-Influenced-1911-Set
bikermutt07 Report post Posted July 31, 2016 The second set is a cut above the first one. I was kind of on the fence with the first one having the not finished tooling look to it. However, the the way you blended the color around the pieces really makes the tooling pop. I like your style. And the stitching? Man, flawless. Great job. You guys always seem to set the bar higher and higher. Gives me goals to work towards.
