Wedgetail Report post Posted July 20, 2016 (edited) G'day all, I've added a post or two since my starting on here a few days ago. Thought I'd say g'day the proper way. I'm based in Ipswich, Australia. And I've been getting involved from a 'paying hobby' perspective for about a year now. My Facebook page is here (below), and I'd invite you all to help me out and give my page a like! https://m.facebook.com/wedgetailleather My interest in leather craft started when I saw a video in a YouTube feed about leather tooling. So I jumped on Tandy's site and grabbed a beginner kit. Tooling is fun, but what I really got interested in after my first few projects and a lot more research was belt making, wallet making, and making wet moulded pouches and bags. As it works out, I have had a few commissions since beginning back then for each of those things! There is a lot to learn, and I have learned a lot of what know now from the people who generously share their knowledge in places like this, and YouTube. Hopefully some day I'll be able to help the next guy out too, but until then, thanks for all your help! Here are some pictures of my work. AussieMade Report post Posted July 21, 2016 Hey Wedgetail, Welcome aboard. You have some nice awesome work there. I'm also a Brisbane based (Moreton Bay Region), Just started back after a 16yr break. Found my stitching skills not as good as they used to be that's for sure. Still waiting on the last of my tools to arrive from Darwin so I can start putting some of my own pics up.
