Contributing Member JLSleather Posted July 24, 2016 Contributing Member Report Posted July 24, 2016 I really need to clean out around here more often. Just found a quart of black oil dye and 3 bottles of Fiebing's stain that I didn't know I had I think it was late last year I found an entire side of 3/4 H.O. hiding under some other stuff. WHY do I always find that stuff AFTER I bought more .. ?!@~!! Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." IF what you do is something that ANYBODY can do, then don't be surprised when ANYBODY does.
bikermutt07 Posted July 24, 2016 Report Posted July 24, 2016 It is the way of things.... You can feel free to send me any of that stuff. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
ChriJ Posted July 24, 2016 Report Posted July 24, 2016 When you get done gloating about your clean workshop, how about coming over and showing me exactly how you did it Chris Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted July 24, 2016 Author Contributing Member Report Posted July 24, 2016 I thought maybe that knowing you could find unopened "treasures" in the dark corners would get someone ELSE to come do mine next time! Boriqua Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 I just wish I had enough space to have things get lost!!! Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted July 29, 2016 Author Contributing Member Report Posted July 29, 2016 That would suggest that I have TOO MUCH space, which I can assure you is NOT the case. Found about 9 er 10 buckles just a bit ago, so now I gotta make more belts (curses.. foiled again). Quote "Observation is 9/10 of the law." Members zuludog Posted July 30, 2016 Members Report Posted July 30, 2016 Call me a sad old man, but I reckon that life is easier if things are organised; a few moments tidying saves hours spent searching. On the other hand my wife belongs to the school that says 'a tidy desk is the sign of a sick mind'. We separated about seven years ago, but still remain friends. Quote
Members LumpenDoodle2 Posted July 30, 2016 Members Report Posted July 30, 2016 If only I could get someone to tidy my little workspace for me...........(sighing wistfully emoticon thingy here). I know it needs done, the castors on my chair are having difficulty running up and down the little mounds of scrap leather and thread scattered about the carpet. (Been a busy couple of days). If I leave it much longer, I may accidently end up on an episode of 'Hoarders'. Quote “Equality? Political correctness gone mad, I tell you, gone mad!!!! Next they'll be wanting the vote!!!!! “.
