Members jakc3 Posted July 31, 2016 Members Report Posted July 31, 2016 (edited) Hey there! I just finished my 2nd bag (1st one was a very simple turned messenger bag) which took me over a month to finish (in hobby time of course). Unfortunately I failed to anticipate how heavy the bag would be before deciding to go with all leather interior. It weighs around 4 pounds but that is mainly because the thinnest leather for the interior i could find was 1.1-1.2mm. The exterior is italian veg. tan leather and completely hand sewn but the interior is from chrome tanned leateher and is partially machine sown. It was also my first experience with machine sewing and adding zippers in general. Please feel free to write your opinion on the bag and point out possible improvements. bikermutt07 Posted July 31, 2016 Report Posted July 31, 2016 Looks great. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 1, 2016 Members Report Posted August 1, 2016 I love the interior. It really looks amazing. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
