TonyRV2 Report post Posted August 22, 2016 Aside from the skiver and the press, I'm not sure what I'm looking at here, but I have a chance to purchase all of it for under $200. Can anyone shed some light on these things?
electrathon Report post Posted August 22, 2016 Shoe equipment Not positive about the first one, some sort of a finisher for soles. The second one is a Landis3, for cutting soles, skiving the edges on leather. Third is a nailer for heals. Not sure about the fourth specifically. If you are making shoes and need this stuff $200 is a great deal.
TonyRV2 Report post Posted August 22, 2016 Thanks for the input, but I think I've decided to pass on this stuff. My interest is primarily knife sheaths. I'm not sure that I'd get any use from these things.
Ken Nelson Report post Posted August 23, 2016 Actually, the second one is a Champion 3-in-1, which is a skiver, and sole cutter. supposedly you can split narrow peices of leather with it too. Landis 3 is a hook and awl harness stitcher.

RockyAussie Report post Posted August 23, 2016 Not sure about the 4th one but does the base cylinder move up and down on a spring perhaps? I'm thinking that if there is any nail size holes in the top part, possibly you put in nails and bring the top driver down to push the nails up into inside of shoe to attach heels on. the skiver /cutter could be very useful but the rest for you not so.
