alexitbe Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Well, I am going to give it another go this year after last year's disasters.... Someone has taken the time to upload this information from a long out-of-print glove making book from the 30's... Have a look here... and let us know how you get on... http://livingstonjewelers.com/gloves.html Cheers Alex Quote
Northmount Posted September 28, 2016 Report Posted September 28, 2016 Thanks for the link. Copied files, optimized and converted to searchable PDF. 5 MB approximately. Tom glove_making os.pdf Quote
bikermutt07 Posted September 29, 2016 Report Posted September 29, 2016 Thanks guys. This will come in "handy". Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
alexitbe Posted September 29, 2016 Author Report Posted September 29, 2016 aw.... "handy?!" that's terrible... Thanks Tom for the work on making it a searchable pdf...That's a real bonus... Does anyone have anymore glove resources, maybe we can add them here? There is not much around.. Cheers Alex Quote
