Members CaptQuirk Posted October 2, 2016 Members Report Posted October 2, 2016 I haven't found anything close to it yet. Is there a Blue Gun, or other make that will work? Quote

Members CaptQuirk Posted October 2, 2016 Author Members Report Posted October 2, 2016 Just did, thanks. Not a place I've shopped before, and while they don't hve the specific model, I should be able to get by with a large caliber S.A. Thanks for the point out. Quote

Colt, Beretta, and some others are one size, . . . Ruger is a different size, . . . and it is sufficiently bigger that it can (and has, . . . ugh !!!! ) make a difference in the holster. The Ruger is a tad bigger overall, and the cylinder is a lot thicker. Just do the measurement and you should be good. May God bless, Dwight Quote

Very easy to deal with the folks down there. Good products, fair shipping (charges and shipping time), friendly service. Quote
Members CaptQuirk Posted October 5, 2016 Author Members Report Posted October 5, 2016 @Dwight- Thanks, that had occurred to me, but I wasn't sure. They have some other models at Bunkhouse, but the pistol in question has a 5 1/2" barrel, limiting my selection a bit. Not really, of course, since I can just draw the holster down a bit more than the mold. Either way, it looks like they are the only source for a 6 gun. Quote

Here's an article with a handy graph that shows the differences in cylinder length and diameter. Unfortunately I haven't found any similar graphs for frame length and widths. http://www.gunblast.com/Ruger-NewVaquero.htm Quote
