Uberti .45LC El Patron holster molds?

Recommended Posts

I haven't found anything close to it yet. Is there a Blue Gun, or other make that will work?

Have you tried Bunkhouse?

Just did, thanks. Not a place I've shopped before, and while they don't hve the specific model, I should be able to get by with a large caliber S.A. Thanks for the point out.

Hey, Capt, . . .  just a small warning, . . . you might want to take a set of calipers to whatever other SAA you want to use for the mold.

Colt, Beretta, and some others are one size, . . . Ruger is a different size, . . . and it is sufficiently bigger that it can (and has, . . . ugh !!!! ) make a difference in the holster.

The Ruger is a tad bigger overall, and the cylinder is a lot thicker.

Just do the measurement and you should be good.

May God bless,

Dwight

Very easy to deal with the folks down there.  Good products, fair shipping (charges and shipping time), friendly service.

@Dwight- Thanks, that had occurred to me, but I wasn't sure. They have some other models at Bunkhouse, but the pistol in question has a 5 1/2" barrel, limiting my selection a bit. Not really, of course, since I can just draw the holster down a bit more than the mold. Either way, it looks like they are the only source for a 6 gun.

Ruger made two different frame sizes of Vaquero pistols. Here's an article with a handy graph that shows the differences in cylinder length and diameter. Unfortunately I haven't found any similar graphs for frame length and widths.
