Members torker32 Posted October 24, 2016 Members Report Posted October 24, 2016 Hey Guys, Going through an old box with Misc. tools and such. Found this tweezer/cutter/ Don't know what it is thingamajig. I searched on several sites with no luck. Thought maybe for fly tying? It's light duty, stainless, no name or stamp on it anywhere. Does not seem to be any type of scissors? Quote
Members TinkerTailor Posted October 24, 2016 Members Report Posted October 24, 2016 The tips look like the tips on sheet metal nipper shears, only smaller. That would be my guess, for cutting detailed sheet metal pieces, perhaps for jewellery. These type of nippers are used with thin sheet metals because they don't distort the material like tin snips. Members TinkerTailor Posted October 24, 2016 Members Report Posted October 24, 2016 Surgical staples could easily be used for many purposes in leather working now that i think of it .....I mean flesh is flesh. Quote
Members torker32 Posted October 24, 2016 Author Members Report Posted October 24, 2016 Thanks Guys, Would never guessed it was for removing staple stitches. Guess that piece will go on my oddities shelf. Quote
