DIY leather

Hey guys.. starting my first leather pieces.. wana ask u guys how to make those 2 tipes of color in the same peace of leather.. its possible right?? How to make it??

 

For example.. those 2 color on the picture.. any tutorial or smthing that u can read or watch.

I tried this with an airbrush (sunburst effect). use a lighter stain on the whole piece then after that I went around the edges with more coats but only on the edges. you can use a darker stain to achieve the effect. bunch of info on here. try searching for airbrushing leather.

To get that look you can apply Fiebing's Medium Brown Antique Finish Paste with a soft rag (like an old T-shirt), laying down thin layers, going heavier toward the edges.
