Here is the start of my mothers Bible cover just got to paint, and finish it, Oh yah put it together, and sow it. I don't know if I will make it before Christmas or not. Just found out I have jury duty!

Thanks. It was left natural, sealed, and then I antiqued it.

Beautiful result.  The final color looks nothing like the original pics though.  The antiquing had a big effect or it is the lighting.

Thanks. Maybe the difference other than the antiquing is the leather was still damp in the first pic which caused it to look much darker than it was. And the lighting could be a factor as well the second pic was taken from my phone not my camera.
