Members Mattsbagger Posted January 5, 2017 Members Report Posted January 5, 2017 Couple pocket protectors. People keep buying them so I guess I will keep making them.lol. I do like doing them really. They can be personalized, can do different color leather and thread. All from the same pattern. I since I struggle with drawing up patterns I like that! Quote
Members HavenHillJay Posted January 6, 2017 Members Report Posted January 6, 2017 Hey, there's something I didn't think of. They look great. Going to have to make one for myself. What did you use for dye? Know of any issues with the dye coming off? Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted January 6, 2017 Author Members Report Posted January 6, 2017 I used Fiebings Tan cut 5 to 1. And I buffed the be heck out of it and don't get any rub off. Put neetsfoot oil on it let dry for a day. Finished with Leather balm with Atom wax. Quote
Members HavenHillJay Posted January 6, 2017 Members Report Posted January 6, 2017 Is that a 2-3oz Veg Tan leather then? Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted January 6, 2017 Author Members Report Posted January 6, 2017 4/5 I have used 2/3 also. Either works fine. Quote
bikermutt07 Posted January 6, 2017 Report Posted January 6, 2017 If people are buying just keep on making them. They look good. Quote
Members kiwican Posted January 7, 2017 Members Report Posted January 7, 2017 are these for shirts or jeans??? Quote
Members Mattsbagger Posted January 7, 2017 Author Members Report Posted January 7, 2017 I size them for back pockets. There are so many different shirt size pockets you would have to have a specific measurement for each shirt pocket. Quote
