Contributing Member JLSleather Posted January 30, 2017 Author Contributing Member Report Posted January 30, 2017 Yeah, I was thinking more along the lines of some type of oil in the leather (from thumb?)... but that don't explain the different color on teh "flaps" Quote
Members OLDNSLOW Posted January 30, 2017 Members Report Posted January 30, 2017 was it oiled with something before you got it that caused a shift or acted like a blocker? Was it a known type of leather or was it a mystery leather? Quote
Contributing Member JLSleather Posted January 30, 2017 Author Contributing Member Report Posted January 30, 2017 A grade HO. I'm assuming that something got IN the leather.. not sure what or when. No discoloration prior to use. Quote
Members nrk Posted January 30, 2017 Members Report Posted January 30, 2017 looks like some liquid dropped onto leather may customer has cleaned the gun with any kind of spirit stuff? Quote
Members carguy4471 Posted February 7, 2017 Members Report Posted February 7, 2017 Molding firearm was wrapped in saran wrap. Die looked great prior to molding. I did use bare thumbs to for the holster, could the wet leather have transferred oil from my hand at that point? Quote
