Just a thought (and I'm probably on the wrong track) but I thought the 132K6 had a "snap foot" system, where the presser foot kicked forward and back? (Or something like that). If that's the case then if this one has a roller foot then it can't use the same "snap feed", can it?

Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500.

Right, K6 has a snap (or jump) foot system but the foot bar on my KSV11 that holds the roller foot (which is not original to this machine) is the same as on the K6 but on the K6 it is holding the not moving "inner" foot.

The mechanism on the back side is quite the same as on the K6 but on the K6 is "controls" the movement of the outer foot via a bell crank lever and on my KSV11 it is controlling the movement of the knife bar.

As I said this is a very wild and rough idea and it most likely will take a few month until I have all parts together - if it is possible at all.

I could use this machine as a standard drop feed machine w/o problems but thats no challenge (I love the tinkering) and I already have a Singer 45D91 and 133K3 with drop feed. So we will see how far I can get... ;)

Finally I dropped the idea turning it into a 132K6. Why? Because I found a 132K6 :yeah:(head only). Was a real attic find fat a closed down leather factory in North Hesse (Germany). Machine was totally gummed and covered with dust, flyspeck and light surface rust but after a thorough cleaning it turned out really nice. And a bonus I got a 111G156 head for free. They just wanted to get rid of these machines.

Will post some pictures later.

So, after such a good find what are you going to do with the SV?

Dunu what to do with the SV - maybe stripping for spare parts or sell the head as drop feed machine or set it up with table / motor and then selling it... :dunno: It does not eat bread so it can stay on the shelf for a while.

So this is the cleaned 132K6 :)

Ha ha - no THIS machine is will not be repainted  Decals and paint are too nice! Note to Jimi:  No silver this time ;)

I have stored away a black cast iron Singer stand on my attic for approx 2 years which was waiting for a machine like this. But setting up the machine completely will take some time and being hosted I have to re-think my space

Finally found the time for finishing 1 of the 2 Singer cast iron stands. It´s completely repainted. Small pedal is for the foot lifter bar but I yet haven´t found a lifter bar for an acceptable price - seems the lifter bars was an optional items. College Sewing has them but I don´t want to pay that stupid price for just a foot lift bar

So I´m getting closer to finishing my 132K6 setup

Just saw this (been away on a bike trip and catching up on stuff), nice job, I did up one of those stands and reckon they're a great looking stand!
