bikermutt07 Posted April 18, 2017 Report Posted April 18, 2017 I know my questions are getting a little tiresome. Sorry. Are there any major advantages of one machine over the other? I can't find much info on the Seiko, so there's that..... Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted April 18, 2017 Members Report Posted April 18, 2017 Was that supposed to be a Seiko model LSW-8BL? bikermutt07 Posted April 18, 2017 Author Report Posted April 18, 2017 (edited) From what little I can find on the Seiko it is a high arm version with 15mm knee lift and uses #8 thread. If that is the metric measurement then it would be 346 from what I am finding. So I guess it would be a much heavier stitcher than the 206. Members Gregg From Keystone Sewing Posted April 19, 2017 Members Report Posted April 19, 2017 This machine uses same hook as newer models from Seiko, LSWN-8BL/CS & LW-8BL/CS andLSWN Series. Not a high arm, but a long arm. I would say would top out at a V207 thread.
