I recently made this rawhide sheath for an antler-handled knife I own.

Underneath is 8-9oz veg tanned leather, and it's wrapped with cow rawhide.
I applied leather dye to the rawhide, and finished it with a light coat of polyurethane.

This was a first for me, and I'm pleased with the result.

I can see why you are pleased with it. Very cool.  I think this is the first "rawhide" knife sheath I have seen. I really like it.
