RonSwanson Report post Posted May 8, 2017 Just started working with leather. Started with a few easy kits, a journal and wallet, but have since started making some stuff from scratch. I have made a pipe bag and some book marks. I am in the middle of wet molding a shotgun shell pouch and some game straps.
Mattsbagger Report post Posted May 8, 2017 Looks like a good start. It's hard to get a good stitch when soft leather isn't glued. What are you using to make your stitching holes and lines? Better than my first few projects.

I was using a 2 prong chisle and eyeballed the lines on these projects. I now have a groover, spacer, and an awl.
