Forester Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Hi garypl True we can't own a real handgun, but a lot of people own replica's or blank firers. So I think mainly collectors or people who do re-enactment buy them. I sell on ebay, so I have sold quite a few holsters through the ebay shipping program, I have sent holsters to Germany, France, Finland and I have sent a Cheyenne gun rig to Italy, I have even sent a John Wayne gun rig to the USA. I also have a few replica's of my own as can be seen in the photo's and a Colt Umarex which is a .22 pellet air pistol, which I have sold rigs for in the UK. dikman Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Very nice work. Did you have any problems feeding the pouch through the loops on the long barrel holster? I'm guessing you had to have it pretty wet. Firearm laws and regulations are certainly bizarre (and usually defy logic). plinkercases Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Beautifle work. Worthy to be in Packing Iron!!! Did you developed the tooling pattern form then photos yourself? I seen other attempts and patterns but yours looks pretty faithful in design and execution. In Canada non firing replicas are illegal except for models of guns for which the real steel is considered an antique... pellet bb and airsoft are considered non regulated firearms for many parts of the law but do not require a license if below a certain power/velocity combo level. Over they become regulated (longuns) or restricted (hand guns) firearms in every sense of the law. the folks I know in the Canadian airgun community almost all treat them as real firearms whether they own a license and real steel ones or not. Forester Report post Posted August 14, 2017 Hi dikman After I have stamped the pouch I try not to wet it again, don't want to lose any detail, I find the pouches bend into the slots which I pull up when damp, I then insert the pistol to reform.
