Which feet should I have for a Pfaff 335?

Recommended Posts

Hello!

I just bought a Pfaff 335 with the valuable help of some members of the forum.

It came with the standard walking feet (1/4"). Which other feet would you suggest to buy? I was thinking of the 1/8".

At least a Right Toe Foot and Left Toe Foot and everything else depends on the work, I´d say. A good source in the EU for Pfaff presser feet is College Sewing in the UK.

Pfaff 145, 345, 545, 1245, and similar also fit your machine.

Thank you! You're right.

It's good to know European resources. It reduces the shipping cost.

As stated above, the choice of feet has a lot to do with what you are sewing.

maybe some piping feet - keep in mind the size to order is the thickness of the piping + the thickness of the material the piping is covered with.

Surely that would be ..piping +2x material thickness..as the material will be wrapped around the piping core.

Edge guiding feet are popular for making seams very close along a straight edge with good precision and repeatability.

Slim feet are a good option when you don't have much room on either side of the seam. The come in left, right, double toe versions.

College Sewing probably carries these, too.

I hadn't considered this fact. I had in mind fabric but leather is so much thicker.

You're right. I need to keep in mind leather thickness plus the cord.

Thanks! These feet are lifesavers. I think I spotted them in College Sewing site.
