lostcaggy Report post Posted October 2, 2017 I've just started making a couple of leather wallets and was trying to bevel the edges. I slipped a couple of times with the beveler and marked the grain side of the leather. The leather is vegetable tanned coloured. Is there a way to remove the marks. Thanks
Mark842 Report post Posted October 2, 2017 Depends how deep the marks are. You can try dampening the area and working it with a modeling spoon.
ComputerDoctor Report post Posted November 21, 2017 You can try a fine grade sandpaper. I use 250 grit and sand as easily as possible. I have used a fine brass Dremel wheel applied very lightly. You can always incorporate your 'slip' into the design so it looks deliberate:) Sam
