I didn't make the pouch, it was sent to me, unfinished, by the fellow I made the rest of the set for.

I wouldn't mess with him.

If I was making it for myself, it'd have a loop with a shiny concho and some tooling.

The fellow I made it for wanted it plain and brown.

Tooling for sure but I use it for deer hunting so nothing too shiny.

Looks good, Snubby...fine work on your part, indeed.  I'm needin' a rig like this for my Beauty, a Ruger Bisley Blackhawk 45LC with the same barrel length...just the inspiration I need...thanks!

Don't believe I'd want to mess with that ol' fella, either...looks crotchety and mean...them's the kind that'll just shoot you and save the exertion.

He does smoke some good cigars though. He sent me a few while I was working on his leather.
