Members GunnyStewart Posted January 6, 2018 Members Report Posted January 6, 2018 I was wondering if anybody here from the San Francisco area has any recommendations for craft fairs or trade shows in the area. I'm not looking for fetish or that kind of fair, just places where leather art is displayed, sold, etc. Quote
Contributing Member LatigoAmigo Posted January 6, 2018 Contributing Member Report Posted January 6, 2018 The American Craft Council has a show in San Francisco that has hosted some high-end leather workers, including shoe and boot makers, plus many bag makers. Truly a feast for the eyes. https://craftcouncil.org/shows/acc/american-craft-show-san-francisco Quote
480volt Posted January 7, 2018 Report Posted January 7, 2018 I have always been disappointed in the sheer lack of interest on the part of promoters and vendors in setting up any kind of nuts and bolts type of leather shows out here. We are home to Burning Man, Maker Fair, combat robots, tattoo shows, gun shows, Ren Faire, Dickens Faire, endless cons and craft shows, Folsom St fair, an endless variety of stuff, and a population with a big disposable income. But no leather shows that aren’t actually art installations. I’d be happy if anyone could correct me. Quote
