bustedlifter Report post Posted January 31, 2008 I had some scrap sheet metal laying around so I decided to weld up a seat pan. The pieces were kind of odd shaped so with some finagaling (is that a word?) I managed to squeeze out an approx. 11"x 7" pan. I tried something a little different and used wrinkle black powdercoat on it. The design came from 1 of the old editor's of Iron Horse magazine,David Snow. In an uncharacteristic move, I "borrowed" some padding from the wife's yoga mat. I doubled it up so it's a verrry plush 3/8" or so, I like it and might use more in the future. Last I heard he left Confederate Motorcycles and decide to stay in New Orleans. Snow became the editor of Iron Horse again about a year or so ago but has left again. You ride? and thanks.
