I had built a belt holster for a 38 revolver . Looks good but does not ride right and prints badly.

Decided on a rear pocket style . Ha d a design in mind but what I ended up with was different.

It does fit the rear pockets of my pants and does not print so functionally it works. cosmetically, well

it works for me. Not problem with it when setting.

Looks good, . . . you have a talent I've never been able to acquire, . . . doing a basket weave and making it look right.

Mine usually resembles a shredded radial tire after a blowout.  Gave up trying, . . . long time ago.

May God bless,

Dwight

Hey Stewart - these look good!  But isn't it a pain to have to keep taking the holster out of your back pocket every time you sit down?  How heavy is the leather you used?

Dwight--- oh there is mistakes, a lot!!! Thank you .

Garypl--- Thank you. 4-5oz tandy so some may be 6 oz. As far as sitting down, no problem when driving.

I worked a heavy duty truck parts counter standing up fo 45 years so I am not a "sitter'

Thanks Stewart - I don't even keep my wallet in my back pocket because it is uncomfortable!  Nice looking holsters anyway - I am planning on making something for my front pocket for S&W Bodyguard.

Very nice!

Does it draw out easy enough without the holster coming with?

Yes. Better than I thought. I am right handed and its in my left rear pocket grip facing rearward .  It's not a clumsy draw.

Am thinking about adding a  safety strap  do belive it should need one.

They are not mistakes.  They are the unique characteristics of a handmade item.  My attempts at basketweave were so unique that i stopped trying.
