These are some bullet belts and rifle slings made a few years ago.  All are hand stitched except the red latigo rifle sling.

They all look good to me. How long do you make the rifle sling straps when they are at full length. I have been asked to make one from the hornback crocodile straps and I think this design shape would work perhaps. Any padding tips would be welcome as well. Brian

Thank you.  The over all length is 41 3/8 inches/105 cm.  Here are the width dimensions so you can get the same taper on the sling.  The widest part is at 9 5/8 inches/24.4 cm from the top end and it narrows back to 1 inch at 30 1/2 inches from the top end.  The widest part is 2 3/8 inches/6 cm.  They are made for 1 inch sling swivels.  Hope this will help you.

I like them!  Some fancy stitch work there too!  I've been working up the nerve to make some, so thanks for the pointers!

Well it"s not too ugly ...I think so let me know what ya think. I will post in a separate a more full break down of the steps and measurements I used later on. Shown below the strap is just over 44" long out fully.With loops on can go down to 32". Hope that's enough range.

Backside of strap shows the nu buck lining and  thumb loop set into and stitched down.

Thanks YinTx I have a bit more work to do on it yet but will post it all with measurements used etc when done. Customer is a croc farm manager and does a lot of hunting in the wet tropics so that should test the construction techniques to the max. Time will tell.

That is a good looking rifle sling,  The lining on mine was made from chrome tanned cow hide, tanned here in Utah by a tannery that is out of business now.  We used to be able to have our own hides tanned there.  The length and range should work good.

I looked at your youtube videos, you have a nice shop and your finished products on the Wild Harry web site are very high quality.  .  Mine shop is a small room in our basement, pretty crowded.
