esantoro Report post Posted July 6, 2007 What are some of the sharpest and longest lasting box cutting razor blades, or are they all pretty much the same? Thanks, Ed
The Major Report post Posted July 6, 2007 For the most part they are all the same, however Lennox/American saw have started making a TiN coated blade, which does last longer. They are about $0.15 more than the standard razor blades. I am not entirely sold on them yet.

Thinking that they're supposed to be something special and also not being very impressed has prompted me to ask for people's experiences with various blades. I guess the ultimate answer would be to learn how to sharpen and use a head knife. Ed
CitizenKate Report post Posted July 7, 2007 (edited) The titanium blades I've used held up significantly better than the regular steel ones. Also, I've adopted the practice of stropping my box cutting blades, and that helps me get more out of each one.
