Members Raksha Posted June 22, 2018 Members Report Posted June 22, 2018 I made this one to night. Saw a youtube video posted here on less knife more beveler (or something similar) and it really gave me a LOT of solutions on my problem with swiveknife work. Still have some stray toolmarks and so on, but hey - progress is progress Quote
alpha2 Posted June 22, 2018 Report Posted June 22, 2018 Hey, I started on a keychain, keep practicing, and checking into this forum, and watch as many videos as you can fine on this forum! Jeff Quote
Members Raksha Posted June 22, 2018 Author Members Report Posted June 22, 2018 Thank you, Jeff. I will keep on trying Quote
Members YinTx Posted June 23, 2018 Members Report Posted June 23, 2018 Now why did it never occur to me to practice floral on keychains?? Nice! YinTx Quote

So I drew this up tonight, and tapped it out. Not the best thing I've ever tooled, but the only thing I've ever sketched free hand for tooling. So there's that. Also, now I know why I don't practice flowers on keychains: waaaay too small! Not really practice! Entirely different beastie. I keep getting more and more respect for those capable of tooling Sheridan on tiny stuff like swivel knife sheaths! Quarter for scale. I'll get it dried and antiqued over the next week or so, we'll see how it looks when its done. YinTx Quote

Having tried, I can comfortably say yours came out pretty well! YinTx Quote
