Members chrisash Posted July 3, 2018 Members Report Posted July 3, 2018 See that Evo stick now produces "Timebond" which they state "allows time to accurately adjust the the bond" Just wondering if others have tried it and if the end join is as good as standard evo-stick contact adhesive instructions state "align the surfaces carefully, applying no pressure. for slight adjustment hold at edge and move to position using a sliding action" Hopefully gives us learners a second chance Quote Mi omputer is ot ood at speeling , it's not me
Contributing Member fredk Posted July 3, 2018 Contributing Member Report Posted July 3, 2018 Evo-stik made 'TimeBond' for a long time, then took it off the market. It has recently just come back onto the market Do as the tin states, do not apply any pressure when positioning, then when in place press together. 'Sliding' does not work, you need to lift off vertically and re-position. Full bond builds up over 24 hours and its as strong as regular contact adhesive Quote Al speling misteaks aer all mi own werk..
