Members Levins7 Posted July 26, 2018 Members Report Posted July 26, 2018 Is there a specific finish out there that can protect belts from sweat damage? I have made a belt for personal use and used Fiebing's Snow Proof with the idea that it would repel sweat along with water. I would like to use the best protective finish available on future belts as I have a few people interested in purchasing them. Thanks, JC Quote
Members Dwight Posted July 27, 2018 Members Report Posted July 27, 2018 One word, . . . Resolene, . . . been making belts (as well as cowboy rigs) for over 10 years, . . . only belt that was a problem, . . . guy measured 53 inches, . . . came back to get it about 8 weeks later, . . . he needed a 56, . . . lol. Seriously, . . . Resolene finished belts have never been any problem for me, . . . all my customers are happy with them, . . . many of them have multiple belts in various colors / designs. May God bless, Dwight Quote If you can breathe, . . . thank God. If you can read, . . . thank a teacher. If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran. www.dwightsgunleather.com
