I made some mini stamps and a cup coaster.

Tried to make some of my own stamps from some nails I had as suggested by a fellow on Facebook, so I could get into tighter spaces in the designs I want to do. They worked but they (and my skills) are not great yet. I made myself a drink coaster using the little stamps I made. The design is from Elder Scrolls Skyrim: College of Winterhold window. I kept getting my thumbnail on the wet leather and causing marks, ill have to learn to stop that. I also made a very easy honeycomb sort of stamp using a hex tech screw.

I love those and the coaster looks great with that "I made these tools" flair to it. I'm totally gonna make some of my own tools one of these days. The hex has been on my list for a bit, I just need to get up and do it.

I'm making a bee keepers belt and was looking around for a hex stamp. So hex nut it is!

That is a bolt head @kiwican. I guess a nut could get a similar result but it's inside and outside diameters will be pretty thick where the bolt head is far thinner. Just something to keep in mind depending on what your honeycomb looks like in your mind

The Hex is from a tech screw like the ones used for tin roofing. I removed the rubber washer, heated it with a blowtorch, let it cool, and cut the outside skirt/plate bit off. I pre-drilled a bit of dowel and screwed it in.

I really like the hex bolt stamp.  Great idea.  I have two bee hives in my yard so I like the honeycomb look it gives. I love the Elder Scroll series of games (I've wasted many hours playing them)  though I don't have a machine that will handle Skyrim (yet). The nails look like a good idea too.

Awesome. If I was to have one Elder Scrolls game it would have to be Morrowind. Something special about that one, the others are great too but Morrowing was Great.

I agree there.  Oblivion was good but Morrowind had the edge I think.  My only issue is it's easy to get too powerful.  Oblivion made you work a little harder.

Nice work on the tool making and coaster.... I recall learning the lesson from someone to make sure I clip my nails before tooling... always do that now.
