Members aoetken Posted October 1, 2018 Members Report Posted October 1, 2018 Purchased a vintage powder horn that someone had started and abandoned after a crack was found at the open end. I treated, sanded, and polished the horn and then decided to make a cross-body strap and hook/loop to carry it as a drinking horn. I constructed and epoxied a base so the drinking horn could be placed on a flat surface while still holding some of my beer. Quote

Members LederRudi Posted October 4, 2018 Members Report Posted October 4, 2018 I used to drink a lot of beer, and I still like beer a lot! Such a horn woulda been also a useful weapon in my bar fights back then when I studied hard for my bar exam. Forgive me, I just couldn't resist... Nice work! Members plinkercases Posted October 4, 2018 Members Report Posted October 4, 2018 In my drinking days it would have been made into a funnel....
