Members dikman Posted October 2, 2018 Members Report Posted October 2, 2018 My Seiko uses 135 needles. Is there a needle type that is the same shank diameter but about 3-4mm longer? Members R8R Posted October 2, 2018 Members Report Posted October 2, 2018 I believe 190R needles are a bit longer, same shank. Quote
Members dikman Posted October 3, 2018 Author Members Report Posted October 3, 2018 Thanks mate, you're right and I'm an idiot! Not long ago I bought some 190R's for one of my other machines and forgot about it! They are indeed the length I want, but I'm facing the same issue I had before - I can only get them in 110/140 size and garment point. I'll have to try and source them from overseas to get leather point. Quote Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500.
