Consew 206RB-4 Reverse Stitch

Does anyone have adjustment procedure for reverse stitch length for a Consew 206RB-4.  I have looked everywhere on the internet and the only information I have found is for the 206RB-5 and the newer model has different parts than the 206RB-4.  I called Consew tech support and they were clueless on how to adjust the older model.  

Went to to a local sewing machine shop and they said they could order me a tech manual for $40, but I hate to spend $40 for one adjustment procedure.

I hope that someone out there has done this adjustment on the -4 modeland can provide some direction!

Thats a lot cheaper than calling in a engineer and you will probably save a lot more using the manual for other adjustments

Maybe you have a bit of Scotland in your blood, tight sods up there

LOL!  I’m Polish - we are just as tight with a dollar as the Scots!

You are right about the manual, but I have gone over the entire machine and have it running great, except for the reverse stitch length.  If I cannot find the adjustment procedure I guess I will have to break down and order the manual.  My concern is that they will order a manual and what will come in is a manual for the newer 206RB-5, which will not help me.

Thanks for the link!  I think I saw this manual somewhere on the internet and think my machine did not look the same inside, but I am probably mistaken.  I guess for $4 I have nothing to lose!
