David Posted February 15, 2008 Author Report Posted February 15, 2008 You got it going on, David! WOW!!~J Thanks Johanna, It didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped. I used block out on the waves to leave them natural leather.....it worked beautifully on my scrap test piece....but failed on my seat. Not too sure what happened. I used multiple coats but it just didn't work. Strange. But thanks for the attaboy. It is always most appreciated. Dave Quote

David Posted February 15, 2008 Author Report Posted February 15, 2008 Thanks to all for your support on this thread. This was my most complicated design to date. Also thanks for all your advice, even though I did't follow it exactly. It is great to be able to display work in front of such a knowledgeable group. Thank you again, Dave Theobald Quote

David Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the feedback on this seat. The good new about it is that it isn't sold. I'll be giving it away. It is going to be going on my son's latest bike/bobber that he is building currently. So it will be staying in the family. David Posted March 21, 2008 Author Report Posted March 21, 2008 Johann, The engine in the bike on the lift is a 100 inch RevTech. It should push this little bobber pretty fast. This is my son's second build. Here is his first...the engine in this one is a stock shovelhead from 1978. He rebuild the engine while he attended American Motorcycle Institute in Daytona, Florida and finished the build while he worked for Sucker Punch Sallys. David Theobald Quote

Now we've all got to try to come up with something that stands a chance of comparing with that. Don't think it can be done! Shirley Quote
