Riddle me this. Outer foot doesn't mark vinyl except for a slight indentation that disappears, But leaves a shiny mark on woven fabric...It wasn't doing it before. It has just started doing it. ANy idea what I might have done or how to remedy that, please?

1st guess - I´d lower the foot pressure

That's what I thought, too but it is as low as it can go. It is just the outer foot on the left.

It could be oil on the bottom of the foot that is staining cloth, but not vinyl. Wipe the feet and needle (with power off) to remove excess oil before sewing. Oil in the head flows downward onto the three shafts coming out of the bottom of the head.

Is it a new or old model 335? And have you adjusted/changed anything recently?
