Members Rbarleatherworks Posted December 21, 2018 Members Report Posted December 21, 2018 Just thought I would share a little gift I made for a friend for Xmas. This is her Brand, and she only uses rope Halters. Love to hear your thoughts on how I did. This is my first project since setting up my shop again for 3 years. Regan :-) Quote
Members Hildebrand Posted December 21, 2018 Members Report Posted December 21, 2018 Very nice, basketweave is really great as is the edge around the brand cutouts. Quote

Thanks for your comments, It did get a bit tight between the heart and the half diamond so that was all I could think of doing, any suggestions on another way to attach other than make more room to have a cleaner stitch and stamp space? Would it have been better if I hand stitched it? I just used my Singer Patcher. Quote
alpha2 Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 I doubt one in a hundred would even know it was machine stitched. Present forum excepted...however I didn't notice! Quote

Rockoboy Posted December 25, 2018 Report Posted December 25, 2018 Whatever you did, keep doing that. It looks amazing. I can only hope to achieve something that looks so perfectly nice and clean. Quote
Members battlemunky Posted December 25, 2018 Members Report Posted December 25, 2018 That basketweave is outstanding! The whole package looks good but the basketweave is really well done. Quote

Oh wow thanks so much, every time I do a basket weave I always think I'm doing it perfect and then you have a look and see how wonky it went, it is much easier with the bigger tool than the small one though I am finding. Love the traditional basket weave... one of my favorites Merry Christmas Quote
