Is the "they" the doctors? This is for sale. I won't be wearing it but for one lucky customer he may fight in SCA and LARP battles or look really awesome at a renaissance fair. Their idea is that fingers are for hamburgers, . . . machines are for sewing and lacing. At 74 I've got just enough arthritis in them that I tend to agree with the fingers.
