Members DV8DUG Posted March 12, 2019 Members Report Posted March 12, 2019 Here's my latest from the workbench. The lames are 14 oz rectangles and 8 oz rounded end staggered. Hand painted on gorget. Completely adjustable and ready for combat. Quote
Members Dwight Posted March 13, 2019 Members Report Posted March 13, 2019 Beautiful job, . . . But my fingers ache big time thinking about all that lacing. They long ago rejected any "big time" lacing or hand sewing projects. What will you be doing when you wear that? May God bless, Dwight Quote

I won't be wearing it but for one lucky customer he may fight in SCA and LARP battles or look really awesome at a renaissance fair. Quote

Their idea is that fingers are for hamburgers, . . . machines are for sewing and lacing. At 74 I've got just enough arthritis in them that I tend to agree with the fingers. May God bless, Dwight Quote
