Hi, again -

The only thing I can think of, in relation to the difference in behavior between the wooly nylon and the regular overlock thread, is the threading path.

On the Kansai (again, not a Siruba), there is an alternate threading path for stretch thread, in 3 different places - I went back and looked at your threading schematic, and it looks like you might have a couple choices on your machine - If you look at the diagram, you see some of the threads are shown with a solid line, AND a dotted one, which (on the Kansai, anyway) indicates an alternate threading for stretch thread.  Have you checked this?

Yes I have. But I threaded the overlocker thread and the stretch thread the same ways, stretch thread still always gave a better result, even when not threading through the holes meant for it.

another long shot as this is an old thread and all search turned up. If this posting should be in another location please move.

Siruba737D 3 thread serger. Found a service manual. Was in process of replacing oil..The manual does not state the volume of oil. Oil is supposed to be at mid points of the sight glass. Added almost three liters and not showing yet. Suddenly oil was leaking fro I don't know where.

Anyone happen to know what the volume should be? If I can find where the leak is and repair.

Thanks
