Rbarleatherworks Report post Posted May 30, 2019 That is very nice It looks lightweight with that rounded skirt, I usually ride in a barrel saddle which are quite light, I have a hard time lifting some of those heavy roping saddles waaaay up there! EdOdgers Report post Posted March 22, 2020 Nice! Compact, elegant lines. Impressive how you carved the fork lip (swell/gullet transition) of the one-piece cover. The flowerless carving is unique and flows. Who made the tree?

I build my own trees. We developer this tree with my good friend- real cowboy and horse trainer. He have lot of experiences with ranch work and roping on cattle ranches in USA. Here is his own personal "special" SWade saddle from our production Edited April 5, 2020 by compound
Denise Report post Posted April 19, 2020 Neat saddle, but just to let you know, the "Swade" saddle tree terminology isn't new to you and your trainer friend. It has been used by a saddle maker and tree maker in Canada for quite a few years now. https://www.stevemasonsaddles.com/saddles.htm Great minds think alike, but every tree maker does things differently so just to beware that some people may have another design in mind if they ask you for a Swade. Yes Denise. I have to admit, we've been looking for inspiration in many places. I understand that SWade can make everyone think a little differently. We mainly wanted our region- central Europe. enrich a not very common saddle model
