Members TomG Posted October 2, 2019 Members Report Posted October 2, 2019 I think I've seen the answer to this somewhere her. but I've spent an hour looking with not success. I have a 111W155 and it sews fine with 138 thread. I would like to sew with 207 just for cosmetic reasons. Isn't there a way to modify the thread path so I can use 207 top and bottom? Tom Quote
Members shoepatcher Posted October 3, 2019 Members Report Posted October 3, 2019 It means removing metal on the underside of the throat plate in the narrow groove that hold the bobbin case finger and some work on the hook. glenn Quote
Members TomG Posted October 3, 2019 Author Members Report Posted October 3, 2019 Is it mainly widening the gap? What does the hook need? Quote
CowboyBob Posted October 4, 2019 Report Posted October 4, 2019 (edited) Leave the hook alone. It is real hard to get #207 to pull up on the bottom side so use #138 in the bobbin. Edited October 4, 2019 by CowboyBob Quote
