Members Ragingstallion Posted November 15, 2019 Members Report Posted November 15, 2019 I was commissioned by a friend who recently became a chef. I agreed to it, already have a design laid out, but I am not sure if my selection would work. I am thinking of a grey Kodiak side, but if i do that, not sure if i should line it with something. looking for suggestions on what leather you would use, and if you line it, with what? Quote
Members kiwican Posted November 15, 2019 Members Report Posted November 15, 2019 I've made a few tool rolls. Never lined any of them and had no complaints. The key word here is roll. If you are going to line it remember that it still needs to roll up! Less bulk in the material is better. Quote
Members Cattledude Posted November 15, 2019 Members Report Posted November 15, 2019 … maybe line each pocket with kydex to keep the knives from cutting thru...? Quote
Members kiwican Posted November 15, 2019 Members Report Posted November 15, 2019 Are you talking about a lining or a knife blade welt? Quote
